AW14 Sneak Preview #3: The North Face Men's Kastelli Softshell Hoodie

Continuing our Sneak Preview series, it's about time we had another sneaky peek! We've already had a look at the TNF Men's Peak Guide Jacket and the Women's Kailash Hooded Vest, but now it's time for The North Face Men's Kastelli Softshell Hoodie to shine!

It's a completely new piece for Autumn/Winter 2014. It's a Hybrid Softshell Hoodie that uses Apex ClimateBlock, a virtually waterproof and windproof fabric which also maintains a comfortable level of breathability. Apex ClimateBlock is ideally suited for trekking, skiing, and snowshoeing in challenging, inclement weather conditions. So if that's what your looking for, the Kastelli well could be a champion for you!

The Kastelli features stretch two tone grid backer panels, aiding overall breathability and dexterity. Two sizable front hand pockets provide plenty of room to store essentials or documents in, as well as your hands if it gets a tad nippy out. One chest pocket also allows you to store more important items closer to your person, you know...like maps and haribo. There's also elastic binding at the cuffs and hood, for a fitted feel and sleek aesthetics. Down at the bottom you've got a shock chord hem with hidden adjustment inside the pockets, which again cleans up the look of the jacket and allows you to adjust while keeping your hands toasty! (If you've forgotten your gloves of course).

We've got three very smart colours due in of the Kastelli; Monterey Blue (my favourite), Vanadis Grey and G.I Green. The RRP will be around £160, but of course there will be the customary Outdoorkit discount of at least 10%!

Keep your eyes peeled for more Sneak Previews coming your way soon! You can also keep up to date to the minute with us on Facebook and Twitter! We're now on Google+ as well!
